2011 is 25 days old

Dalliance, my friends, is a dish best served under a blanket with a generous serving of pillows.

With that out of the way, New years aren’t quite the same without the customary declarations of resolutions. And since I’m never one to shy away from general peer persuasion, why not make some promises of my own that I may or may not keep. Not just because the whole world is doing it but because the whole world is doing it and I don’t want to be left out.

So I sat down and reflected for a bit about my life, about what’s lacking, about what I’d like to change.. but soon I came upon the realisation that in order to fully reap the benefits of this process of reflection, I should probably get abit more comfortable.

Suffice to say I ended up under my blanket surrounded by pillows and after more reflecting on the seemlingly unreflectable, I’ve decided that this year I’m going to enjoy whatever it is I set out to do. This year I will embody love. This year I contrive to be more alive to the possibilities of every moment.

Yes, this year I will. But right now? I’m going to sleep. And that’s all I have to say about that.
